Dust to Glory: An Overview of the Bible (audio or video series)

R. C. Sproul presents an overview of the Bible in either audio or video formats. Tapes are sold in twelve volumes, with 2 or 3 tapes (or CDs) in a vinyl binder for each of the audio volumes or one video tape for each video volume. There are a total of 57 different messages presented, but they vary in length. So the number of messages per volume varies. Tapes can be purchased as single volumes, Old or New Testament surveys (6 volumes each), or complete sets. Individual volume prices differ depending upon the number of messages.

Optional study guides are $3 per volume or $18 for the set. Study guides contain message outlines and samples of inductive Bible studies.

This is a survey course, so Sproul selectively addresses key books and themes in the Bible. Volume titles are Creation and Blessing, The Giving of the Law, The Land and it’s People, The Prophets—Parts I and II, The Wisdom Books, The Coming of Christ, The Early Ministry, The Later Ministry, Messages to the Early Church, Messages to a Growing Church, and The End Times. Although Sproul’s background as a Reformed theologian is obvious, he strives to fairly present the different viewpoints held by Christians on some points..
