The Great GrammarianThis board game has questions--some serious and some zany--that help your children review parts of speech, spelling, punctuation and proper word usage as they move around the board collecting gold stars. It is set up for team play, but it should work just as well if students play as individuals--games will just take longer. Questions range from fairly easy for typical fourth graders to quite challenging for sixth graders. Children should have studied grammar for a number of years before playing this game. Questions on correct spellings, usage, homonyms, etc., also assume at least fourth grade level learning, and sometimes higher. The board is quite large so it easily accommodates a crowd.
