Best Books was originally available as a printed book, but it is now only available as a free download at the BJUP website. This is a compilation of annotated listings of recommended fiction arranged by levels. Books have been chosen for literary merit and propriety for Christian children. For junior and senior high levels, there are additional listings of worthwhile literature that requires some discussion because of questionable elements. (Those elements are described for us.) Another section lists biographies and autobiographies. At the end are excellent guidelines for choosing books.
