Tobin’s Lab

Tobin’s Lab has a great website featuring mostly science resources for homeschoolers. (They’ve expanded into some interesting history resources in recent years.) They carry textbooks, including some of those I’ve selected among my Top Picks and others I review at this site. Since this is a Christian homeschooling family business, they also carry creation/evolution resources. On their website, you will also find many topical science books, videos, equipment, kits, chemistry sets, games, posters, microscopes, dissection specimens, and much more..

They have the TOPS line, the only distributor I know of that has these great books right now. (See 100 Top Picks for Homeschool Curriculum for a review.) They also sell Boy Scout Merit Badge books, another great resource for homeschoolers that’s not readily available to everyone.

In addition, they offer a free monthly e-newsletter. This newsletter is particularly useful for those wondering what resources they might like to use since it features lessons/activities from various books sold by Tobin's Lab (used by permission). You can try these out as samplers. Lessons are provided for various age levels each month. Sign up on the website.
